Alex Gleason joined Boylston Properties in 2021 to oversee construction of life science projects at Arsenal Yards, including the complex redevelopment of 500 Forge. Alex works alongside contractors and construction teams to achieve project excellence, maintain budgets, coordinate with tenants, and lead project operations to ensure efficient and effective construction timelines.

Prior to Boylston Properties, Alex was a project manager at Cranshaw Construction for more than three years, where he was involved with the redevelopment of Arsenal Yards, focusing on base build construction of retail, restaurant, and residential aspects of the 1M sf project. Alex started his career at Shawmut Design and Construction, working his way to Project Manager over a six year tenure, where he was involved with numerous academic construction projects. The most influential project was a $90 million new construction state-of-the-art laboratory research building for Brown University, which utilized a fully Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) method. This was the first of its kind IPD project at Brown University and among the largest educational IPD projects on the East Coast, featuring a 10,000 sf clean room facility, lab space and multi-purpose classrooms.

Alex graduated with his Bachelor of Science, Construction Management, from Roger Williams University.
